Looking for advice. I rescued a spider plant from my office kitchen as it looked super sad (see pic in the white/grey pot). I brought it home and repotted (see pic in green pot). I used all new soil that I mixed myself but when I took it out of the grey pot to place in the green pot it had no roots at all. I haven’t watered since putting it in the new pot as I had just watered it at work the same day I brought it home. Should I put her in a smaller pot given she has no roots?? Help.

if she has no roots at all you could try propagation

Propagation is when you just break it down and place just in water? Right? I forgot to mention in my post I’m new to the plant mom business.

yes. take her out of the pot, gently clean her roots, and fill up a cup of lukewarm water to put her in and make sure she gets plenty of sun. also, change the water weekly and make sure to run the roots under a gentle stream of water to clean them off :)
