I keep seeing this white stuff on the top of my plant soil - is this an issue? Do I need to repot with new soil, or is it fine for the plant? It keeps showing up on different plant soils lately.

    This looks to be mold, I would repot in fresh soil, clean off the plant, and spray with neem oil. You’ll need to do the same/similar process to all of the infected plants as mold spreads and can be contagious! You should be able to save this guy 🥰 I would also consider the humidity levels in the area where this guy is kept as that can increase mold.

    I had a reoccurring mold issue on one of mine. I took off the top layer of soil, put a layer of cinnamon over it, and no mold since!

    It could also be that where it is doesn’t have enough circulation! I recently had this issue and that was the cause of my soil mold

    If you top-water with hard tap water, minerals can build up and look similar fyi. I can't tell one way or the other from the picture so I'm just throwing it out there.
