Please help! I repotted this beauty about 3mo after I brought her home. I potted her in a lovely orchard mix and placed her back in a bright, non-direct sun spot, where she's been loving life! She went from this to this! In less than a week!!! What do I do!?!? Is she a gonner?!?
Have you tried switching rooms? It might be to late by now

0 Me gusta I watched a YouTube video that showed a shriveled up, drieded out, dead as a doornail antherium and they cut off all the dead yuck, soaked the whole mess is warm water with fresh cut garlic for 30mins, then repottet in clean fresh, regular potting soil. She looks real 😔 But thats what I've done. I have nothing to lose at this point. I can't stop peeking at her 💜
....and 36hrs later... it's all moldy. In the trash she goes. Guess that YouTube video was garbage :( so sad

Why did you repot her in the first place?
0 Me gusta Trust me - I ask myself that every time I think of her. BUT I repotted her because I did too much reading. :( She was thriving! :( but the more I read about her, I learned that she should be in an Orichid mix soil and I had her in regular potting soil. I just kept seeing it everywhere that this plant was not going to make it in regular potting soil. So i finally made the change. And there you have it - less than a week. She hated the orchid mix!!

1 me gusta Yup, when I first started buying plants, I was on them like white on rice and now I just let them be..if they want something, they will show me.
1 me gusta I wish i could say I learned my lesson. But I'm living with an illnessness that has me homebound. So I've taken to plant-care. They are kind of keeping me sane as I putts around my big home alone all day. It's kind of hard to leave them alone LOL
