Hi guys, I repotted this leopard lily about 3 months ago. Ever since, the leaves have become crinkly and drooping. It gets bright indirect light and watered enough. I believe the culprit is the PH being too high (on my meter, it reads at an 8 alkalinity, but dieffenbachias do best closer to a 6) Are these characteristics accurate for PH being off? And if so, what is the quickest way I can make my soil more acidic? Thanks!
I'd try watering with R/O or DI water for a few weeks to see if you notice any changes. Really only way that I know of to tell if the water is causing the issue, whether it's PH, fluoride, or some other tap water additive

What's R/O or DI water?
0개 좋아요 R/O - Reverse Osmosis . DI - Distilled Water. DI is generally more pure then RO, but it will depend on the type of RO system.

I also use banana peels along with coffee grounds in the water and let soak a good day or 2… mine have flourished since starting

One way I like to give acidity to the soil of my tropical plants is coffee grounds. Either mix some into the pot or water with straight up coffee. I know it sounds line crazy by my acid loving plants love it! They've started thriving since I started using coffee.
