Hello! My Chinese evergreen keeps getting this white moldy stuff on top of the soil and some of the leaves keep turning yellow. I tried the cinnamon thing. I also scraped it off and backfilled the top with fresh soil. It keeps happening. Should I repot? Or is there something else I should try? Also, is it a good idea to go ahead and cut off the yellow leaves?

    You can always switch to bottom watering, making sure the top 1-2” stays dry. Mold needs moisture, so if you keep it dry it will help keep it at bay, you should also have a lot more success with the cinnamon if the soil is dry.

      Oh ok. I have it near the humidifier so I’ll try and move it in another area
