I recently moved to a new town, and it seems that putting my plant in the car with me was too cold, because after I set it up in its new home it lost all its leaves and theses weird soft ridges started appearing on its bark. I’m not sure if it’s going to recover and would take any advice to bring it back to good health. Attached is a before and after picture
I do know that ginseng ficus are quite sensitive and will drop all their leaves at a slight change, but it doesn't mean it's dead. Mine has managed two house moves and dramatically dropped a bunch of leaves each time! It's doing well now though. I can't give specific advice one what to do though other than just continue to care for it! And make sure it's placed in a good spot at your new pad and not moved around again. Hopefully someone else can advise on the soft bark because I'm not sure.

Yes mine has lost all leaves before. Scrunches in the bark means it's emptying that section of water, and it usually only does this when very dry/underwatered. Lots of water and watch for new growth to see if it makes it.
