My poor jade is looking a little rough. Last night I had the window open to let cool air in… and when I woke up some of the bottom leaves were in the soil. And she’s looking a little sad, she’s always been a little bit droopy (that’s how she was when she was gifted to me) I’m a little sad that she’s now bare on the bottom. Any advice? Could I propagate the leaves?

You can propagate the leaves, but I’d suggest doing so in a separate pot or shallow dish with some of the same succulent soil the plant is in. As for the plant, the leaning can be from the cold and/or lack of light. To try and remedy it, try putting your jade in the brightest windowsill you have, and make sure there’s no risk or draft or air vents near it. One of my jade plants arrived leaning in the mail, and I set it so it was leaning away from the window. Within a few days it started to straighten out. It’ll force the plant to lean towards the window for light. In the meantime, you could use a bamboo/barbecue skewer and gently stick it in the soil to prop the stem upright more. Hope this helps!
