HELP! The picture in the car is when I first got this calathea from Lowe’s it was in pretty good condition… I brought it home and put it right in my east facing windowsill and I think that’s where I messed up. The leaves are all shriveled and curled up now, there is a few still standing strong. I moved it out of the windowsill or should I put it back idkkk any other tips??
use distilled water!! these guys are picky and love humidity as well. the east facing window should be fine, but a slightly shaded south facing might be better. cut off any of the dried dead leaves, make your adjustments and hopefully this guy bounces back! good luck!

Mine did the exact same thing after I put it in a southeast window. I tried so many things to save it and nothing worked. Calathea are very finicky and I’ve already killed 2 so Im done trying 😂
