Hi I recently bought a mini silver nerve plant and have been following the Planta instructions. Initially it was in a place that had too much light so I’ve moved it. The soil is very damp and now the leaves are limp and shrivelled. It looks likes needs water but the soil isn’t dry. It was in a 8.5 cm pot and I’ve repotted into a bigger pot with more general purpose compost just now. What else should I do? It’s looking very limp and sad. The photos are of it in its new pot.
Hi I think the smaller pot worked better for this plant. I had one with bright pink veins & she didn’t do to good after I moved her into a bigger pot. I also let this plant tell me when to water, it’ll get droopy on its own FOR water because planta has us over water a lot of the time. Mine hangs on our shower curtain rod ~2.5ft from the window. My soil too doesn’t always look dry, it stays moderately moist. I still have crispy tips, leaf curling, & some brown edges on mine however I’ve learned all of that is considered humidity issues. All in all, I’d probably move it back into the smaller pot, mix the soil it’s in with some dry so that you don’t have to water it again, let it dry out & then water “for the first time”. Try not to disturb the roots to much more, so if it has some clumped soil with its roots, let it be. It already looks stressed out.

I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago! Your plant most likely needs more humidity. Mine looked the same as yours, so I bought this jar and repotted it into a smaller pot.
This was the before. 👀 Definitely was stressed.

2 likesFantastic! Thanks for your help. I’ll repot it back into the smaller one and get it under a glass dome I have ( glass cake cover repurposed 😂) hopefully that will help.

1 likeIn addition to the suggestions above, I'd like to inform you that fittonia are drama queens. They will literally wilt if you look at them wrong.
5 likes😂 There are 2 stems and one them is making a pretty good attempt at looking dead! I’m hoping it’s just the drama and it will spring back into life soon!
