Hi all, I found this very, very large monstera on FB marketplace and am going to need to split it because it is just so much bigger than my space really allows. I’ve trimmed the bottom-most yellowing leaves off and some unmanageably long aerial roots since these photos. I do have a plan to do this, but I’m wondering if I should wait a while until it recovers from the shock of being moved from one place to another during winter in Canada, or if I should just get all the trauma over with at once?

    Im no expert, but I’d do it all at once. I don’t wait for a plant to acclimate to my surrounding just to upset it again when repotting. BUT that’s just me. It’s prob better to give it some time, but most of the time a plant comes to me, it was in a worse environment than what I’m going to give it. I’m in Toronto Canada.

      I was going through my previous posts and I thought you might like an update - I took your advice! Not included are two more great plants that I gifted to friends :)
