I had this added on too an older post and believe it got lost being with the original. There is a screenshot of what I have to say-hope that works out.

    Is the soil very wet? It may be overwatered which can lead to rot/mushiness.

      Yes. In my original post I found that I’d accidentally left it standing in water left over after watering in the cache pot. That was a week or two ago and it was still wet, despite attempting to soak up water with layers of paper towels beneath it to wick water away. Changed that out frequently so it had constant wicking action. Everything turned to mush. I’ve, since this post, declared it beyond my life saving capabilities 💀 Definitely learned my lesson-double check after watering my plants that I, in fact, did remove all excess water from every plant!

      Oh that’s too bad, sorry about the loss of your plant. I have over 100 in my kitchen and losing one of them is awful. I repotted and then overwatered my first and favourite plant - a succulent, and it died, too. I was so upset. What kind of plant was it?

      Same happened to me. I lost my monsters deliciosa last week for the same reason.

      Oh no!!! So sorry about that! It was a hard lesson to learn, but I’m vigilant about not repeating now.
