A past app led me wrong. It was a highly rated app but it essentially encouraged me to water way too little and now almost all my plants are super dry and withering. I’m upset because I followed the app’s instructions and now my plants look awful. I could cry. All I can do is hope this app does better. I hope my plants don’t die. I’d like to see flowers again one day.
With Planta I use there watering schedule more as a reminder to check the plant/s soil first and if dry I will water. If not I will delay a couple of days.

Same! Otherwise planta’s schedule would have all of my plants overwatered

3 LikesBe aware that planta tends to start out suggesting overwatering, but will adjust as you go. To help save yours, give them a 20 minute+ (you can go up to a full day) bottom-watering soak, then make sure they drain very well. It'll help them absorb more water than a usual watering. After that, continue regular care, just watering more often than in the past. The plant in the top picture may be dead, but if it's barely hanging on, you should see signs of recovery several hours to two days after the soak
