Hey guys! I’ve posted a few pictures of my super leggy begonia here. It’s dropping all of its bottom leaves and working it’s way up. Question 1 would be is this normal? If not what can I do to prevent/fix this. Secondly would you guys recommend doing a chop here? As you can see there are tiny green spikes along the bare stem. Are those incoming leaves? If so I’ll leave it alone but you guys let me know what you’d recommend me to do. Thanks!
Mine is doing the same thing lost so many leaves since I got it. I haven’t repotted it. I’m wondering what stress it’s under, I’m thinking I’m not giving mine enough humidity? But I’m still not sure

Polka dot begonias love lots of sunlight, but not direct. They also love to be watered once a week so the soil never dries out. I give mine a little stick to wrap around and they grow up the stick like crazy. Also, make sure your pot has some good drainage. Terracotta are great because they are so porous and allow the plant to breathe.
