Hi buddies, what do you do to keep your begonias from crisping on the edge of their leaves? Doing my best to keep its environment humid enough with a pebble tray and small humidifier. Could it be the tap water?

I’d like to add that I’m doing my best to keep the soil consistently moist as that’s how I got it from the big box store I purchased it from.

I use self watering pots for begonias because they like a consistent moisture level. I do a chunky soil with self watering and just make sure the reservoir never dries out. Some of my begonias are even in 40% humidity and don’t mind because they consistently have water. There reservoirs just need filled faster.

It started cause i have 180+ plants and I just didn’t want to have to water everything at the same time, but now I just love self watering because some plants drink more than others and I don’t have to worry about underwatering or overwatering
