My begonia escargot is growing beautifully, but is it supposed to be drooping? I've seen pictures where they look more full / bush-esque, but mine seems to be growing very tall. Any ideas or suggestions? Or is this normal?

Kris, it may not be getting enough water. Looking at your schedule it said to water every 14 days. That may be what Planta is telling you. I have an Escargot as well and I use a custom schedule for my Escargot that is set for every 4 days instead of Planta calculating it. If you look at my attached picture, there is a leaf on the left side that hangs a little lower. If he starts to droop a little bit, then it is time for more water. Also, I have found that Escargot’s like an exact watering schedule. If I went too long, then I would start to see browning on the leaf edges as well as drooping. So when new leaves came in I went to a regular 3-4 day cycle and I have not seen brown edges. Once you get some brown edges on the leaf, they will stay. I also use a pebble tray underneath it for extra humidity. I think Planta is having you wait to long between waterings, which is why you are seeing the drooping. I also have been using Jacks Classic 20-20-20 fertilizer at 1/4 tsp to a gallon of water. This has really promoted growth for me. Just my thoughts.

Awesome, thank you so much! I've also been having brown edges and wasn't sure if it had to do with the light or humidity - I'll be sure to water it more often and look into a pebble tray as well

I think it has more to do with watering that may cause the brown edges, but the pebble tray won’t hurt. Also, to set your custom watering schedule for your plant, go to the page for the plant and look for the gear in the upper right. Click that and you can set your custom watering schedule. With Rex Begonias, I set the days, but watch the plant. If it begins to start to droop, water it, but then adjust the days between watering. So if you set it for 5 days, and on day 4 droopage is happening, water and move the days back to 4. Once that is dialed in assuming that you’re watering the same amount, they will get water right when they are ready for more. Wait to long, and you will see stems falling over. This Asian Tundra (attached pic) is supposed to be watered tomorrow. Today, you can see stems almost touching the table. I’ll water tomorrow and she will perk back up.
