hi begonia buddies! the left upper leaf of my begonia maculata is kinda curled like this. she’s green but she just has this curve to her. is that okay? is that a sign of overwatering? i’m new to begonias. or is this just how her leaves look before they open up more later. thank youuu! 🪴
Should be fine. Sometimes they get a little stuck when unfurling and end up a bit curved like that but it doesn’t harm the plant or mean that future leaves will necessarily do the same. It may happen less with higher humidity but as long as it doesn’t bother you it’s not an issue. As far as watering, these guys are pretty forgiving. I’d let it dry out somewhere between half- and all the way and don’t sweat too much if it dries all the way out; just give it a good drink and it’ll keep chugging along.
