Curious if anyone has had a Ferox grow young leaves with bullae (spikes) developed from the start. š§ My understanding is that one of the key differences btwn Ferox and Melanobullata is that Ferox spikes develop as leaves mature, whereas in Melanobullata they are present right away. (The other main difference being a more rounded leaf in Melanobullata vs a pointier leaf in Ferox.) As you can see in the photos, my Ferox put out three new leaves, one smooth and two w spikes. They were very different looking from the very beginning too, w the spiked leaves starting off super fuzzy.
