Hi all. I got this polka dot begonia 6 days ago and repotted it in custom mix tropical soil (equal parts Fox Farms, perlite, orchid bark). It looked great when I got it and according to Planta, I last watered it the day I potted it, but part of me thinks I might have watered it a second time? My house humidity is always at least 50%. Planta says it is overwatered, but the soil feels pretty dry and from what I have read, they like it a little more moist than most plants. So is it really overwatered, actually underwatered, or just in shock from the repot and new environment? The leaves are still soft except the very tips, which are a little crunchy. Thank you! PS: it’s under a grow light 12 hrs day

    Begonias can be very temperamental when repotting in my experience. Give it time and check with a bamboo stick to see when to water.

    You can always put in a support pole until its recovered enough to hold itself up. I agree with the above, very temperamental, but I can’t say I’ve had any of mine be this dramatic after a repot. I’d be patient, and if the skewer test is showing its dry then water accordingly. These guys don’t like to completely dry out like other plants.

    Thank you for the replies. I put in a support stick and will give it more time. I will also get some bamboo sticks to check when to water.

    To be honest at this point I would take a cutting and put it in the glass of water
 just in case you know
 they root good in water for me.
