   begonia have very fine roots, they don't like to dry out. water as soon as the top 2" are dry. i would call them heavy feeders, a splash of fertilizer with every watering will do her some good. it also looks like she might need a haircut to fully recover, cane begonia do naturally branch on their own but she's gotten too tall to renew growth at the bottom. wishing her a speedy recovery! they grow like weeds, you've got this!

     I agree with the haircut. You can put the cut pieces (with nodes) into some water with some Prop Drops & when the roots are good sized you can put them back in the pot they came from & you’ll REALLY have some bushy growth then!

   They LOVE humidity. My begonias took off the moment I added more humidity to the area.

     Yes, this. My begonia is the closest plant to the humidifier & that makes her VERY happy.

   I have one of these that’s about 3-4 feet tall and survived my most recent post partum depression which I always feel is a sign of a hearty plant but I lost a lot of lower growth as well, however new shoots have grown at the base and there are probably 3 of them in there now and it’s A LOT bushier now! Haven’t measured it recently but I’d say it’s at least 3ft tall now, maybe 3.5!
