hello! i just got gifted this prop of my neighbor’s begonia! but id like help with an id. planta says polka dot begonia but it’s def not maculata. any ideas? đŸ’ĄđŸ€“ tia!

    it looks really similar to a fannie moser but its spots are more like splotches than perfect dots đŸ€”

      thank you! i think i figured it out, i think she’s a sophie cecille! but lmk if you have other suggestions đŸ€“ i repotted her too into a custom soil mix, i hope she loves it.

    I have this same plant and she’s my favorite, so far mines over 2 feet tall! And sparkles in the light! Best of luck!!

      thank you! she’s a foot tall but i recently lost 4 bottom leaves or so 😭 it was a weird thing where a lot of my plants simultaneously started yellowing (i am typically very good about plant care so a yellow leaf in my house is very rare, even with 100+ plants) i’m wondering if it’s a fertilizer problem đŸ€” but anyway i kinda let her dry out in case it was overwatering & was wondering today if i should chop her & start over! i did that with a different begonia. but for now she’s just freshly watered & my fingers are crossed. đŸ€žđŸŒ
