Fertilizer question - my backyard has a handful of established plants. All are healthy but I think could use a little boost. What do you recommend for an all around fertilizer that I can use for these: - Rosemary - Texas Sage - Autumn Sage - Chinese Chives/ Garlic Chives - Iris - Turks Cap - lavender Appreciate any insight!
New to gardening and found this (fungus?) on my okra plants, anyone know exactly what this is or how to treat?
Hey y’all, So I’ve recently moved in to a new place, and over the spring these irises grew in and bloomed. However this elm(?) also grew in and I was worried about it taking over my irises. Some of them were already tipping over. I don’t know the first thing about plants and gardening, but I tried to dig it out. The thing is too stuck in there though to get it out without killing most of my flowers. Anybody have any ideas? Two pictures are from after I tried to dig it out and one is from before. On the opposite side of the flowers is a concrete walkway.
Does anyone have any recommendations on a easy plate to start with. I’m new to gardening but I want to try and start.
When we moved in a few weeks ago the landlord told us he’d found a potato in here, and left it just in case. So I guess we’ll be having potato😂 Any tips on when to know to harvest??
Hi! I was wondering if anyone would know why my plant has stopped producing blooms. I transplanted it a few weeks ago and now she won’t bloom and has slightly discolored leaves. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
These are my tomatoes see how all of them have 4/5 stocks besides the second picture that’s because I pulled 3 out from that tomato plant. Does that mean it’s one of my tomatoes have multiple plants growing in it?
1st pic was taken 10 days ago. Now my sunflower is withering. No seeds even popped up in the center. Is this just the variety of the sunflower? Idk the exact variety I got I just picked up seeds from the store. I thought it would grow to be a normal sunflower, but maybe this variety is just meant to grow a small flower then wither? Because there’s plenty of sun in Arizona and I’ve been watering the sunflowers everyday so it can’t be a matter of too little sun or too little water.

I purchased a milkweed plant at the suggestion of the nursery to attract pollinators. I worked at attracting the monarch. So I purchased another milkweed plant which hasn’t blossomed yet. Now today I noticed both plants are covered and caterpillars. Should I remove them or let them be? They’re eating up the milk meat plants will they eat anything else?

Hello. I am a new outdoor gardener. I have had a couple indoor plants and flowers but I just got a walk in Greenhouse from my FIL. Husband is going to make is more sturdy before I add plants and flowers in. I have a question: yesterday I got a Hadspen Blue Hosta and Planta is saying the only good spot for it is my patio. I was wondering, would the Greenhouse be a good spot for it too? There is a cover for the Greenhouse, we just need to fix it a bit. Thanks for the advice.
A few months ago, me and my father accidentally bought a Mr. Honeyberry thinking it was a blueberry. And I didn't have the heart to put it back, ever since then we've been looking for a Mrs. Honeyberry, but we can't find one anywhere! If anyone has an idea of where I can find one that would be amazing!
Are these plants sick?! I am trying a raised bed garden this year, put in some cherry tomato plants, pole beans, and bell pepper plants. All looked healthy when I purchased. A week went by from the time of purchase till when I got them planted. A day or two after planting, 3 out of 4 tomato plants had leaves that looked like this (had grayish brown areas). The pepper plants had some browning on the leaves and still have some. Google search made me think the tomatoes have a bacteria or something. Then I was out of town for 4 days, now I’m back and they look a little better but still have some leaves that look unwell. I’m confused. Anyone have some advise? Pics are of two tomato plants (one pic of 2 days after planting and one pic from today)
