Hi, I forced paper whites in a glass container last fall and removed them from the murky water in March. They have been in a cool dry place since. Today I cleaned them of the dead and dry stems and skins and repotted them in soil in a shallow ceramic dish. The question is should I begin to water them or wait until fall? Thank you 🪴
Why do earwigs like bok choy ?! 😑 they’re always nestled in between the leaves. Going to try diatomaceous earth first but anyone have any other recommendations to keep them out of my raised beds?

Recently planted some Iris bulbs (I know that’s recommended in spring. Just didn’t wanna wait till Fall), and so far they seem fine. Haven’t bloomed yet but that’s expected, since I only planted them 5 days ago. Does anyone have any tips with growing them? I’ve had good luck with my houseplants but I’m very new to outdoor gardening. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Help! Can someone help me identify what is wrong with my tomato plant? Something has been slowly spreading, fruit seems fine so far though. I’ve been trying to pick off affected leaves and stems in case it’s fungal or something.
Was going to add some mycorrhiza to my new raised bed as well as add some more worm castings. Does anyone know if adding them at the same time will grow anything unwanted?

So, I’m battling spider mites on my outdoor Salvias. Should I do a fairly good chop back on them during the summer so they can harden off before winter? I was thinking that might help with the spider mites
Hi, I have a porch that does get decent sun on one side but the other side is primarily shaded. I am looking to expand my potted garden onto that side of the porch, but I need suggestions for plants that do well in primary shaded areas. (Photo is not the best since we have a doggie proof area because one gets bored and digs)

First time growing celery this year!! Looks good so far. Had to sprinkle coffee grounds around my peppers and in the strawberry patch to keep the slugs at bay. The peppers and tomatoes I started from seeds seem to be doing well too this season. I’m hoping my pumpkins start to thrive (not pictured)

What may be going on with my hybrid tea rose? It went from looking very healthy to like this within a week. I did spray neem oil last? I am noticing lots of bees doing their job. The leaves look fine, but the flowers/buds do not. The first picture was last week & the other 2 are today. Even the new blooms look sad 😔
Hi everyone, my lemon plant has started to bloom again after suffering from root rot this passed winter. She was doing great and now she’s beginning to drop flowers again (10 in one night.) Does anyone know the cause of this // any way to help? I make sure to let her fully dry out before watering here again so she doesn’t rot and I make sure to carefully dig holes for better watering and ventilation. I have one lemon that survived from winter (shown below) and it’s the highlight of my life. PLEASE HELP ps I believe the spots are pollen they come off with a light wipe and our other plants have it too!
Hi Planta friends, I have a question about my Meyer Lemon. Its leaves have yellow spots which I’m assuming it’s a water issue but I don’t seem able to find a balance. The plant is doing well, there’s flowers and a lemon. Its my first lemon plant so any insight would be appreciated 😊
