I wanted to post these pics as a source of encouragement to not give up and to be patient. Here’s a pic of my tomato plant 28 days ago and another pic of it yesterday. I wondered for weeks if it would survive but decided if it wasn’t brown and crispy then I’d let it keep going. I’m glad I did because it’s taken off. I may not get tomatoes until Winter 🤣 but I’m just happy it’s thriving!
I want to start an organic garden on my patio but I’m not confident at starting it from seed especially right now because it’s so hot. I can’t seem to find an organic nursery near me (central fl let me know if you know of a place near Ocala fl) is it possible to take non organic plants and replace the soil and make them organic? I’m looking at growing veggies, fruits and herbs. Not sure if there’s a way to make non organic plants organic after they’ve already started growing. Thank you guys!
Anyone have guidance on how to improve the health of this rose hip plant ( i think that’s what it is called)?
My pitcher plant is growing all wacky. I’ve been keeping it in a shadier spot because I thought it may have been getting burnt by too much sunlight. I read the wacky growing might be due to lack of sunlight. I’ve moved it back into direct sunlight. Tips for keeping this pitcher healthy?
Hi, I’m Sarah and I’m new to gardening. I am in need of someone to tell me what plant this is. It was supposed to be oregano and the app is telling me it’s Vietnamese oregano, but there is no smell to the leaves. And also, what does fresh oregano smell like? Help please!
I’m growing both tomatoes and zucchini in a raised garden bed. The advice from Planta is that these should be fertilized once a month in July. whereas lots of advice on the internet and what’s written in the instructions for Jack’s blossom booster says these plants should be fertilized every 1-2 weeks Can someone explain why it’s so different? And what would make these plants need more fertilizer vs is it going to burn my plants if I do it too often? Thank you!
Is this a pepper or a weed? I planted pepper seeds according to my calendar in may and this just popped up a while ago so I’m not sure if it actually is because it took too long. Does anybody know? Update: Now that it grew more leaves i was able to identify it as flower of an hour which is a weed 😭

Is it too late to plant strawberry plants in the ground? I've been weeding my garden plot and I have plenty of space for a couple strawberry plants and maybe one other edible plant. I was also wondering because it is so hot and the water evaporates so quickly should I water my plants twice a day once in the morning and once at night when it cools down?
So I have a lot of plants in our backyard planted in our garden, but it is about 95° every day for most of the day except at night when it goes down to the mid 80s. How do I make sure my plants get enough water cause it evaporates so quickly because of how hot it is, is there a way to make sure that the water gets soaked up into the Earth?
What would you all recommend for dealing with weeds? Is there a way to kill them without killing the plants around them?
