Any tips for a newbie growing in garden bed? Iāve got some onions as well as some different bell peppers and a jalapeƱo pepper. As well as some spearmint in a pot.

I just got some new peppers and was planning on putting them in pots, any recommendations at to what TYPE of pot I should use? (I.e. terracotta, concrete, plastic, etc.)

I am growing Calla Lilies for the second year and all but one came back up this spring. I fully intended to dig them up for winter but was sick for a while and totally forgot.š¤Ŗ Thankfully almost all survived and came back up. I can tell some have spread from where I planted them last year. Is there a way to split the remaining largest bulb when they are already growing and move it to the bare spot? Or am I just going to have to wait until fall? I am in Tx zone 8a in case that matters. Temps are currently 50-60 at night and 70-80 during the day. They are planted in a flower bed around my front yard tree so they are always shaded.

every year i help landscape my grandmas house and weāve slowly been adding outdoor plants to see what works for her house. she wanted to add tulips this year and iām wondering if i should go ahead and plant bulbs now or wait until fall? i know fall is the best option but i just wondered if it would hurt the bulbs if i did it now. also what is the recommended distance between each bulb? just wondering how many to buy. thanks!

Sigh, last year I had curly leaf on my peach tree. Spayed copper fungicide both in the fall and early spring. Now the new leaves are coming out with red lumps. Can anyone identify this?

Can someone tell me why my jungle flame is drooping like this? I noticed it started slowly doing this morning. I havenāt donāt anything different. I always mist all my plants early morning to due to the strong sun rays in my area. Iāve already reached out to Dr. Planta and it had to be sent to a customer service person. So now Iām just waitingš©

Just finished repotting my pink dianthus flowers, got them from Loweās. My gosh were they extremely root bound and also had the worst soil ever, the entire thing could be squeezed and water would pour out (I didnāt water it since I got it so I could repot it easier). Had to spend nearly an hour untangling and trimming the roots to let them breathe and dunking it in water to get off all the bad soil. Crossing fingers this girl loves her new home better š¬

When do you move your houseplants outside? Iām getting anxious to get the big fellas out in the sun! I live in Zone 7A (Pennsylvania). Plants Iād like to move include amaryllis, succulent mint, ficus triangularis, bird of paradise, and a few othersā¦ This is my first spring having some really big plants (they were given to me last June), so Iām not experienced with this process.

Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone can help me. I planted zinnias and started them indoors. While still inside, the leaves started to turn kind of yellow and crunchy/dry. I have tried fertilizer, fungicide and have been on top of watering/moisture. This is what they currently look like. I transitioned them outside but they still look weird. Are they lost? Or can I still save them? What should I do to improve them? All tips are very much appreciated!! Thank you šŗšø

Hello! First time flower gardener here, last year I killed some mums so I need a bit of guidance. So I have two mini King Salvias and a new hybrid of carnations I believe (could be wrong) called paint the town pink. So the Paint the town pink flowers the roots are coming out of the pot and so I need to repot them. But the salvias look fine. Anyways, what type of well draining soil do you all recommend, pots, and also watering? I am getting mixed results from my own research since some say consistently moist others say to let it dry out and these are perennials so I want them to make it.

I am 100% a beginner at outdoor plants (this being my first one) but I am very excited for this as it is a cutting of some honeysuckle and jasmine from my parents garden :) Anyone have any tips for caring for these? iām in the UK so we of course get quite a lot of rain. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!!
