I have an outdoor garden and it had a big 6 foot 2 inch basil. It died and I cut off half of it. It is very big and I don’t want to pull it out because it might hurt my pineapple plant. I tried to pull it out but its roots grow to the railing. What do I do?

    I would cut it down completely. Leave the root and it will grow back. Control the size of the new plant by regularly pinching off new leaf sets to keep it low and bushy
