Help! Can someone help me identify what is wrong with my tomato plant? Something has been slowly spreading, fruit seems fine so far though. I’ve been trying to pick off affected leaves and stems in case it’s fungal or something.

    Mine always look like this. I’ve mended dirt, fertilized, sprayed plants, and they r on a watering schedule.

      I don’t know if this will help but try a slow release fertilizer made for tomatoes instead of a general liquid one applied sometimes. That way they get fertilized every time they are watered. Tomatoes are heavy feeders. I have had great success with this one over the last few years with strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, okra, black beans, cow peas, cucumber, Mexican sour gherkins, melons, and ground cherries.

    Mine kept doing this every year and I finally figured out it needed fertilizer. I was accidentally fixing it but couldn’t put my finger on the problem.😄 I was potting it in soil enriched with compost and fertilizer. Then I would turn on the irrigation system to water them every day and go off to enjoy summer with my kids. But then 1-2 months later it looked like this. That is when it is 90-100 here and I attributed it to that, but also pulled off all affected leaves just incase it was fungal. I would then show it TLC and give it fertilizer and extra water to help it survive the heat. It would always perk back up and I would be relieved I saved it. It took me a couple years to realize it was just my ADHD self forgetting to fertilize them. 🤪 Oops!😅 So I added planta as one of my tools to help me remember to check on my plants before they looked so bad. I posted a picture of the fertilizer I use on your other post in case anyone else needs good food plant fertilizer recommendations.😊

      Thank y’all so much! It has been well into the 90’s here and I haven’t been fertilizing them with anything but a general liquid one (and have been forgetting). Will def try this and see how it goes!
