Hello! Starting a garden this spring. What edible fruit or veggies could I start germinating? Or am I late?

I’d recommend Epic Gardening on YouTube, they have videos every week and every month they have one about what you should plant now according to your zone

I’m in a northern state and always start everything early! I have grow lights though and a small ā€œset upā€ for it. Things I’ve started (and are currently sprouting): Tomatoes Pumpkins Beans Carrots Arugula Lettuce

I’m getting ready to start my onions within the next week or two. I’ll start everything else probably end of next month.

Are you starting them from seeds or a normal onion?! I’ve been wanting to try to plant the onions on my counter before they go bad šŸ˜†

For seedlings I leave mine on for at least 10hrs and usually at 100 or 75% brightness! Once they sprout I leave the lights on for at least 12hrs but usually closer to 14 at 100% brightness! If I notice they’re growing a little to quick for my like I’ll intermittently change the lights percent between 50/75/100 just to slow them down a little. I’ve had best luck using the ā€œblue/redā€ option for lighting on my grow lights! It’s generally the most blueish and bright of them and is the best for promoting root growth! Hope this helps! ā˜ŗļø
