Iāve got these beautiful trees around me that are starting to bloom these lovely white flowers, and would love if anyone could tell me what kind of tree this is. I live in zone 7a in PA, if that helps at all. They kinda remind me of cherry blossoms šø Iām thinking itās a type of pear tree or a white cherry blossom tree. Would love to be able to identify it so I can plant one around my house š TIA for any help in finding out what these trees are!
I believe this is a plum blossom also known as prunus mume, usually smell great and bloom late winter.

if the blossoms smell bad then it's definitely callery or bradford pear. bradford is a cultivar of callery pear but both bradford and the original plant are increasingly considered as "invasive" in various areas of the US. if this does happen to be a callery pear or bradford pear please report it to a local wildlife agency or other related organization

It could maybe be a dogwood? Iām from northeast Ohio and we had dogwoods there which are native to the region.
