I’m very new to all plant related things but I WANT a green thumb so bad. I have this little succulent I got for this little planter my son made at school. It’s looking a little sad? Not sure. I’m trying to only water it when the app reminds me but I think it may have gotten too much rain while we were gone last weekend. Any tips will be much appreciated. ☺️
Well, I always think thought succulents only need to be watered once a week so if it gets a lot of rain, simply just don’t water it always check the soil before you do water it
1 me gusta I do typically check the soil. I didn’t water it after it got rain, we were out of town and I forgot to bring it inside before we left, which is why I’m worried it might die from too much rain.

Does the planter have drainage holes? Succulents are fairly hardy, so I wouldn’t worry too much as long as you take care of it from here on.
1 me gustaIt’s possible the succulent needs to be repotted. The soil content needs to be very well draining. The soil, sand, perlite ratio should be 2:2:1 or even 2:2:2 if your area gets a lot of rainfall and this will be an outside plant.
