I purchased a milkweed plant at the suggestion of the nursery to attract pollinators. I worked at attracting the monarch. So I purchased another milkweed plant which hasn’t blossomed yet. Now today I noticed both plants are covered and caterpillars. Should I remove them or let them be? They’re eating up the milk meat plants will they eat anything else?
Those are monarch caterpillars so it should be fine

Oh this is so neat! I need to plant some milkweed. I’ve been debating and after seeing is I’m definitely getting some. Hope you get to see them come out of their cocoon.

I’d definitely leave them be. Predators will likely come and snatch some of them.
