Why do earwigs like bok choy ?! 😑 they’re always nestled in between the leaves. Going to try diatomaceous earth first but anyone have any other recommendations to keep them out of my raised beds?

Alyssalol, or pincher bugs, when I was in elementary school a classmate freaked me out and told me they’re called earwigs because they crawl into your ear at night (not true, but sure scared the crap out of me for a good month) 😂

I was about to take a picture but I sprayed them off with a hose this morning and they haven’t come back. They gross me out though, I’ve sucked one up a straw in an ice coffee before 🤢

Ive heard that they hate the scent of peppermint oil, so maybe dilute that with some water and spray around it after sunset to prevent leaf burn??
