What plant is this? Found it growing in my planter. I thought it was something I planted but after a little research I think it’s a volunteer from some bird seed. I want to cut it since it’s growing near some of my stuff. Anyone know what it is?
It looks like some sort of cucurbit (squash or zucchini or cucumber or pumpkin or melon) or the like, but I’m certainly no expert.

0 J'aime I have no sweet clue. I have a volunteer blackberry stem that I think a bird probably pooped in my garden, and I don’t even have bird feeders!

You guys laugh , but I’m in the construction business and I’ve literally seen corn growing out of gutters that haven’t been cleaned in a while. Birds definitely spread seeds. I understand if you want to cut it down but it looks beautiful. Are you not a little tempted to see what it turns into lol keep us posted if you are.
