Gardeners please help🪴 Apparently my dog likes veggies and nipped my cucumber plant while we were outside. I was getting it used to outdoor weather. Is there any saving it? Should I just cut the plant and hope for the best? Can it be propagated?? This cucumber was doing SO wellðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Try gently with a cloth tiny it together basically like taping it together maybe that will work, but no guarantees cucumbers are very finicky and very prone to shock Then when you transplant it in the ground, maybe like a week or two later after if it survives make sure to bury a little bit deeper into the ground to hopefully the roots come out, but I would not transplant it right now. I would see if I can tie it together with the cloth first not very hard The weather is good right now for just planting seeds outside. Sorry this happened. If you do, try my idea, please keep me updated
1 Like Or a better idea take this pot with the plant and bury it deep in a much bigger pot basically a pot that you decide the cucumber will live in for the rest of the season and bury the injured area and see if that will save it.
