Bought this rubber tree from a nursery. The woman I spoke with at the nursery told me the plant could probably be repotted and to just go up a pot size. The plant tips over easily in the pot it’s in now. Can someone with experience give me a step by step instructions repotting? Never done it before.
One big tip don’t mess with the roots too much, learned from experience 😅

Repotting is easy. Find a pot maybe 1 to 1.5 size bigger than it is now. Fit the plant and pot it’s in now in the pot that is bigger and see where it sits. Take soil media and fill the new pot to where it makes the plant sit just about even to the top of the soil/pot line, slightly raised. Take the plant out of the old pot by holding it by the main branches in an upward motion bring the foliage up. To loosen the pot lightly hit the sides of the pot with your palm. Plant will slide out If all happens well the roots and soil should be still in the shape of the pot. Check the roots for anything root bound (knotted or circled up) If not then pop it in the new planter pot, the plant should sit perfectly or just a little lower than the soil/pot line. If so you can add a little bit more soil to the bottom, set it in, then fill the sides. Done… Water evenly. Enjoy 😊
