Hello! I have been growing a clematis flower and this new plant that doesn’t look like a clematis starting growing. I tried to identify it with naturalist/seek and it said walnut tree, but I’m looking for another opinion. Does anyone know if it is a clematis plant as well or something else?
My best guess is possibly a green ash but there are so many other things it *could* be it is simply a guess. Good luck.

0 Me gusta Yes…one way or the other it is a tree and will rob the soil of nutrients needed by the clematis. You could replant it if you have a space you want a tree in.
