AlyssaTrees are slow growing, they take about few to several years to become sapling size and then from there it’s a couple decades before it’s a full grown tree. But also, you need to make sure you give it time to go dormant because keeping it “awake” all year drains its energy and stunts it growth. 🪴

Thank you. How do I help it go dormant? It’s been outside most of the year, do I need to bring it back in?

Of course! Nope just keep it outside and let it experience winter, just make sure it doesn’t get too wet if you have a rainy type of winter.

I’ll be sure to keep an eye on it and make sure it’s not wet all the time. We have an old conservatory so if the Autumn is overly wet I’ll move it but it’ll still be cool. Thanks again!

Perfect! That sounds like a good idea, I love conservatories, they are so magical looking, even ones that are abandoned. Best of planty luck to your little spruce! Of course
