So I ended up killing my banana Peppers due to over watering, so dumped it all in a box and then went outside and scraped up all the surface dirt and nearly decayed leaves and mixed it in and it doubled my soil amount! Should this work fine to reuse as potting soil for a new plant? Also, it dried it way out so it’s just lightly moist soil now!
Were the pepper plants growing in the ground or in a pot? I'm reading that either as 1. the dead plants went into a box with soil and leaves scraped from the ground where they were growing or 2. the potting soil went into a box with some topsoil and leaves. If 1. then you'll want to let the plant matter compost before adding it to potting soil. If 2. then yes but it would be a good idea to add perlite or something to improve drainage.
いいね 1件 It was in a pot, there was big mulch pieces that weren’t sifted out that covered the drainage holes so the water just sat!

いいね 1件 I started bottom watering to, and somehow forgot so I bottom and top watered which was a problem lol…The last Bananas almost fully matured their stems too, so I think I’ll have a better chance this round
