   Who steals a basic grocery store type orchid? I mean you can get a perfectly good mini for $3 if you check the bargain ones right after they finish blooming in the store. Heck, if you attend any orchid society meeting, somebody will probably gift you one just for being a new visitor

     I know, right? Except at that Expo, the first THREE mini Phals…they wanted $45.00!!! After that 3rd one told me their price, I wad afraid I couldn’t get my replacement but then I found this one for $10😎

     Those must've been named cultivars or new hybrids. I've paid that high for a mini phal before (not sure if it's a standard size that's young or if it'll stay small), but it's a new novelty hybrid that comes from the most bluish purple flower parents I've ever come across. For a regular no ID, I'd never spend more than like $15
