So, I have a small group of plants. 2 avocados 2 lemon 1 orange. Should I bring them inside ? Will they survive the winter ? This is my first year winter with outdoor plants of any kind.

    What's your winters like? I bring my fruits in. It can get below 20°F here, and really with a pot anything under mid 30's prolonged will freeze the roots and kill the plant, especially if they aren't cold hardy.

      It gets low 30s at night right now, should I bring them in ? I also just got a cover can I use that or better inside ?

      Is this because it’s cold ?

      At that age, yes, I would bring them in if it’s getting 35 or below. Once they’re bigger, the citrus can probably handle it outside if you wrap them in the winter, but avocado definitely hates the cold.

      I'd definitely bring them in. That looks like it's a bit of frost burn. Avacado and i think most citrus are Evergreen, so shouldn't be losing leaves.
