Hello everyone! I got this succulent mixed cacti plant. My succulents are getting tall and I’m not sure what to do with this plant. I transplanted it one time to a bigger pot and brought it outside. Not sure if I should separate, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I had one that was tall er than me. It grew to about 5’5” and stopped. I bought it on the knock off shelf for $0.75 and had it over 30 years. My daughter started helping with watering and apparently watered it too much. It tuned soft inside and one day I came home and it had collapsed on the floor! I cried. I loved that prickly ‘ole son of a gun! I hardly ever watered it; maybe every 6-9weeks. No idea how to prune a cactus and not sure you can.
2 likesThese all look really beautiful to me. I wouldn’t even suggest a repot yet unless you believe the plant can’t support itself anymore and even then there are all sorts of stands and poles to support it if you don’t want to cut it. Succulents like to be near other succulents and I still see plenty of dirt between plants and they are all so bright and colorful so I think you’re doing great.
