Found this guy outside by my plants, I almost forgot visitors like this can come over without notice. Is this a friend or foe?

    That’s a run away squealing like a little girl, for me. Typically if they’re big enough to catch my bumbly bees, I don’t like them. Otherwise I leave them there. They’re fine. They get rid of the other bugs.

    Looks like a wolf spider (you could say by its muscular body). Good thing is they get rid of your pests without weaving any webs. I'd gift her a dead fly now and then to keep her around the plants lol. You got an arachnid pet.

    That is a grass spider, not a wolf spider (it has huge spinnerets; wolves have very small ones.) It's harmless to humans and a very shy species. That one looks to be a male, and he'll hunt pests for you. These spin flat webs with a funnel shaped hole that they spend most of their time hiding in. If disturbed, they will run away very quickly and try to hide

      Here’s a better picture of his eyes. I have named him Carl and hope he sticks around but at a safe distance so he doesn’t freak me out. 😆

      He’s on my outdoor patio furniture. I was on the inside of my house taking this pic from my window. He definitely needs to be and stay outside.
