I rethinking one of my garden spaces. I’m considering purchasing some galvanized metal raised beds. I would love some pros and cons from people who have used them. Thanks in advance for your expertise. The picture is from one of my current straw bale planting areas.
As much as I hate to admit, metal is the way to go. I have treated cedar boxes, and even though they are pretty much the best quality wood, They still deteriorate and need to be replaced every 5 to 7 years. ☹️ Personally, I'm not a fan of the metal look, but it's definitely the most reliable.
0개 좋아요 Raised beds are also great for keeping out pests. Consider chicken wire at the base to keep out gophers or whatnot
