Hello! I’m based in Brighton in the UK - does anyone know how important it is to bring a potted olive tree inside during winter months? What about a non heated room eg a conservatory?

    They are hardy to -4°C. I would probably insulate the pot so the roots don't freeze. And put it in the conservatory for a bit of protection

      Thank you! Conservatory will also stop over watering from all the rain! Do you think it will need the insulation in a conservatory still? It’s so heavy but hopefully we can manoeuvre it inside 😅

      Oh no! They do get so heavy. I watched a yt on this farmer living in cold climes. He was saying how he now plants larger trees in deep wheelbarrows. So he can move them easily 😆 🤣

    If it's the sane temp as outside you may want to if it gets near or below freezing. Just so the roots don't freeze and die.
