I need help with my green house. I’ve had it for a while and it’s in a spot where it get sun all day, I know I need to move it. It should have morning light and afternoon shade correct? I want to decorate it and make it pretty but I need help with the temp it gets way to hot and I often have the window all the way open and the door all the way open however I would like the door to stay closed. It has a 50% sun blocker covering the top and the long sides are facing east and west. How do I keep it cool during the day where should I move it and any tips for keeping it cool and pretty and how can I manage it with no place to plug a fan in I might get a solar fan. I also have a temp thing and humidity but I need one that I know it accurate and has a app so I can see the temperature and from my phone as I am often away all day at school.

Greenhouse & GardenI definitely think it’s the stagnant air, even like a portable USB charged fan could work because you really only need more airflow when the sun is shining at its highest intensity and that’s only a few hours max a day so the charge should hold through significantly. Also, light misters help and don’t really affect the soil much because it’s not a significant amount of water. It depends on what plants you’re housing in your greenhouse what amount of sunlight you’d want. The thriving temps and light needs differ for each plant like lavender is a full sun herb, but like mint is a partial sun herb and can do well. It really depends!

Thank you for the tips! I just moved it yesterday and found a good thermometer and Hydro meter with an app so we’ll see where it goes from there!
