Hi, I have been gifted a lovely prunus incisa (fuji cherry). It came in a 3l pot and is currently sat on our garden table. Should I repot this into something bigger or leave for now?! Finding it hard to get an answer and don't want to ruin it!! Thank you
Assuming you intend to plant it, you can go ahead and pick a spot and put it in the ground. Water it about once a month in winter (ideally on warmer days) to help it get established. If you intend to keep it potted, it can stay in its current pot for winter and repot in spring after the frost free date. You should either bury the pot or pile up mulch around it to help prevent the roots from freezing
