Hello- A neighbor was giving away snapdragons. Do I keep this indoors trill frost is over and then plant outside? Also I read that trimming it early is important??? Any advice? Thank you in advance.

    My snapdragons are doing fine ourdoors right now (zone 8b), but they were established in fall and survived through winter. Yours is still young--maybe wait a couple more weeks just to be safe! And yes on the trimming, but that's for trimming back old growth when the new growth emerges in spring. Your little guy is still a baby, so no trimming needed yet! If he gets too leggy after establishing, maybe cut back some. Very hardy plants in my experience!
