Anyone have tips to grow tomatoes?

      Heirloom Roma, and sun sugar yellow

      Okay for the heirloom romas they are determinate (meaning they will only grow to a certain height and are a great tomato for small places) I’d still suggest a tomato cage to keep the tomato bush contained, you don’t have to necessary prune this variety either For the sun sugar yellow tomatoes, they are indeterminate meaning they will continue to grow and grow and grow, so I’d suggest a more serious method of trellising or tying up. Also, make sure to prune any branches that aren’t growing off of the main stalk, as these will take energy from the plant. For tomatoes in general, they are very thirsty and very hungry, so consistent watering and fertilizing is a must during the growing season, make sure they get enough airflow, and for containers plant one per or for garden beds give a good 15 inches between each plant. Otherwise the channel Epic Gardening on YouTube has a plethora of videos on tomatoes and a good watch!
