Somewhat new to outdoor plants - would this mushroom compost be equivalent to rich compost / green manure or is it its own thing?

    Just be aware that you will get little mushrooms growing around the inside ring of your pots all season :) kinda fun. Although, you will still need to supplement with some fertilizers throughout the season.

      This is for my in ground plants, but that’s good to know! What additional fertilizer would you add?

      It really depends on the plant…but I love using Jobe’s All Purpose fertilizer spikes! They’re an even 4-4-4 NPK and slow release for a few months whenever you water. Awesome, safe, and noticeably effective when you’re just beginning your outdoor grow adventures :)
