Ok so i bought some rose bushes from Ollie's today for 2.50 each. Has anyone ever had any luck with this things? Because I've been trying to get some for months for less than 40 bucks each

    They should do okay, but you'll want to pay attention and give them the best care possible while they get established. The instructions on the bag are good. If you're in an area that gets cold winters/hard frost, bury the graft join about 2-3 inches deep. If you're in a region that stays warm, the graft can be 1-2 inches above the soil. Plant them with plenty of space so they get good air flow, and be sure to look up how to mulch them for winter. They look a bit dry, so I'd suggest going a bit long on the pre-planting bucket soak. Also don't sweat it if you lose one or two; that price is fantastic for hybrid teas. As for soil, they like slightly acidic conditions. Depending on how fast they grow, you may or may not need to prune them for overwintering. The next prune would be in spring
