I put my seeds in the freezer for a month or two after they arrived from Amazon. I got cherry tomato seeds, spinach seeds, cucumber seeds, and banana pepper seeds. I put them in an egg carton on a heating mat and found seed safe soil for them. Put some water but not a lot because I was scared of overwatering. I was told that they could last a long time if I froze them. Now I’m worried I only just planted them today. Did I do anything wrong? Like should I have planted them in the morning instead of night? Will I need to put my plant light on tomorrow or no? Did I overwater them already? Should I not have done them all on the same day?What can I do from here to make sure they stay healthy?

    Whoa. Settle down there. 😋 I’m sure you did fine; they’re just seeds, after all. Just wait and see what they do! ☺️

      Ok🥲 I guess I am just too used to having strict directions. Like “3 cups” or “2 drops” so this is new for me. I really want to do well.😅

    Seeds are surprisingly resilient! Time of day doesn’t really matter for planting and you can turn on the grow light now for varieties that need a little light to germinate. Google is your bff. Make sure the grow light is close to your plants leaves as they grow(like 6 inches) so they don’t get leggy reaching for the light. Only keep it on for about 12 hours at a time since they need “night” for a healthy growth process. Once your seeds are up, turn the heating mat off. Seeds have all the nutrients they need for about a month so don’t worry about fertilizing them at first, then fertilize with a diluted fertilizer in your water when they get their first pair of true leaves:) you will do great!!

      Thank you! What do you mean when the seeds are up? Like awake or sprouted?
